In April 2009 I was on a flight to the Polish city of Krakow, having decided to spend the weekend to visit the place where my then husband had grown up. We had been married for just under a year and I wanted to understand more about his cultural background. I was glad to get out of Frankfurt because recent events at the law firm I worked at had upset me and got me thinking very hard about the environment that I worked in. I looked back at the last fifteen years that I had practiced law and began to think that I really had so many stories to tell - enough to turn into a novel. And suddenly the first sentence popped into my head.

"My name is Chloé. Chloé Krakowski."

Back home again, I started to write the first chapter. And then another one. And then another five. I wrote on and off (as much as a full time job, two children and relationships permitted) over the next seven years or so until the summer of 2016 when I felt I was ready to give the full manuscript into the hands of a professional editor that I had found on YouWriteOn.com. After I received her very helpful review and encouragement, I took another year to do more re-writes and additions and more re-writes until, finally, I was able to submit the polished manuscript to Andrews UK who accepted it. Five months later, namely on 18 April 2018, about nine years after I wrote the first sentence - which has always stayed exactly the same -, my dream came true: I held the first physical copy of my book in my hands. Words can hardly express the joy, the happiness, the relief and the pride I felt. I was bowled over, and I pretty much still am.

It's been such a long and hard journey but it was worth every effort and every investment. #bookrelease #debutnovel #firsttimeauthor #writersblog #publishedauthor #supersonicthenovel #authorsblog #anouschkazagorski

Very modern book. In the time of #timeisup also a good read for men’s. It seem to be hard for them to understand that no women can switch from standing her men in the work to sweet wifey and lover in few minutes. To live a fulfilled life in the career and being a good mother and perfect spouse is almost impossible. Sometimes there is error in trying to do the best, but this is what the Supersonic will teach you : there is life after the error. Erase and rewind. Stand up and keep going. Thank you for writing this book. Waiting for more. ❤️
